More than mere numbers can express, Justice For Our Neighbors changes lives by reuniting families after years of separation, by helping immigrant women suffering domestic violence to live safely and securely in this country, and by assisting eligible immigrants to attain authorization to work and to eventually become citizens of their adopted homeland.
All of Justice For Our Neighbors’ clients are low-income, earning 200 percent or less of the Federal Poverty Level. Our clients have come here from every corner of the known world—Mexico, China, Burundi, Jamaica, Poland, Fiji—126 countries in total. They represent different faiths, races, traditions, educational and professional backgrounds—all reflecting the great and wonderful diversity of our nation.
Our clients connect to us through churches and other houses of worship, neighbors, friends, relatives, and other nonprofit organizations. We strive to serve immigrants who are most vulnerable and whose lives can be most significantly transformed through immigration legal services.
