Rosa met with staff and volunteers at Arkansas Justice For Our Neighbors to receive help in settling her immigration status. The Justice For Our Neighbors – Arkansas attorney filed Rosa’s citizenship application and helped prepare her for the exam.
She smiled as she described singing the national anthem and waving her flag to the song “I’m Proud to be an American” at a ceremony held at the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Service office in Memphis, Tenn., last May.
Justice For Our Neighbors – Arkansas is now submitting citizenship applications for her three minor children.
